Hello, my name is Margarita Romero or Maggie. I went to High school at Sunnyside High School and went to the University of Washington for my first year of college until I transferred to Central Washington University. At CWU I study Mechanical Engineering Technologies with hopes of pursuing Mechatronics. or Energy.
Latest Project
Senior Project:
Currently, I am finishing off my Senior Year at CWU, and with that, I am working on my Senior Project. My Senior Project is funded by the Joint Center for Aerospace Technology Innovation and sponsored by Boeing. This project recycles carbon fiber trimmings from the wings of planes, crushes them down, and melts off the resin so that the carbon fiber can be reused. My aspect of the system is to make an enclosure for the heating element that melts the resin off the trimmmings.
